Lauren has considerable experience in prenatal, postnatal and labor massage, in which she holds an additional certification through Kate Jordan's 'Bodywork for the Childbearing Year.' Lauren's intention as a massage therapist is to facilitate awareness, to promote balance, and to optimize health. In her work with new and growing families, Lauren aims to encourage wellness, bonding, awareness, and deeper levels of connection to support healthy, loving families from their inception.

Lauren embraces the mind-body-spirit philosophy; she believes it is necessary to care for each part of our selves to enjoy a full and enriched life. Through her background in Psychiatric Music Therapy working with children and adolescents in Residential Treatment Centers and with adults in Psychiatric Hospitals, she developed a profound understanding of our basic need as humans for compassion, support, nurturing, and touch. Lauren is committed to creating a space for each person to develop the awareness and balance it takes for growth to ensure the body's innate ability to heal itself may thrive.  Because we all deserve well being.
